With over a decade and a half of experience editing novels at HarperCollins, Penguin, and Glasstown, Lexa is also an author and poet who brings her background in creative writing and eye for detail to every project she touches.

She is an avid consumer of all types of media with a wide range of taste, from children’s fantasy books to the next big Netflix adult drama. As marketing associate, Emily works to create new ways to showcase Glasstown projects.

Now with a master's in children's and young adult literature, she is dedicated to championing new voices that provide mirrors, windows, and doors to marginalized communities and underrepresented identities. A rampant consumer of everything from the Kardashians to  Last Week Tonight , she seeks stories with irresistible commercial hooks, achingly real relationships, and a touch of whimsy.
